Frequently Asked Questions

Boundless Tours is a boutique company, and as such our service is very personable and dedicated. As an owner operator, Barak still guides most of his tours and is usually the one point of contact from start to finish.

We offer complimentary concierge service, and we’ll use our local knowledge and experience to create a fun and memorable experience for you. All our tours are private and customized. We are commercially licensed and insured, and we also operate new luxury vehicles. We have a great track record over the past 10 years in the industry as reflected in our 5 stars reviews from our clients.

No. We are here to assist you in the process. As a first step we will have you fill out a brief custom winery questionnaire.

Once you submit the questionnaire form with your preferences, we will work on pre-planning your custom itinerary and will make recommendations for wineries, points of interests, and best places to eat. Unless you have your own selections or tasting appointments, you will get to pick and choose from our recommendations. And finally for wine tours we will assist you in every step of the reservation if needed.

You can choose to pay in full at the time of booking. However, we only ask for a minimum payment/deposit of $100 in order to complete the booking. The deposit helps cover admin costs, pre-planning your custom itinerary and concierge service if needed. We typically spend between 1-3 hours pre-planning our custom tours.

Any additional time beyond the hours booked on the reservation will be charged at the same hourly rate (in 30 minute increments). We are always transparent and up-front regarding costs .

Our tours include private transportation, fuel surcharges, bridge tolls, (Redwoods) park entrance fee, and water bottles. Winery tasting fees, and lunch expenses are not included . Extra time (more than 15 minutes) will be billed at the same hourly rate.

20% gratuity will be added at the end of the tour. We accept Cash, Venmo, or it can be added to the credit card on file.

For the deposit a Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) is required. The rest of the balance can be paid on the day of the tour. We accept Credit Cards, Cash, Zelle & Venmo. Checks are not accepted.

We understand that sometimes there’s an unexpected change of plans. We ask for at least 72 hours hours advance notice. In case of cancellation, the $100 deposit is non-refundable , but can be applied as credit to future bookings of a tour or service with Boundless Tours for up to twelve months from the cancelled tour day. If you cancel within 72 hours of your trip, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your tour. 

The client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle done by his/her guests. In the event of any physical damage to the vehicle, there will be a minimum additional charge of $750 (or up to cost of replacement) for the repair and/or cleaning of the vehicle. This includes anyone getting sick and vomiting in our vehicle, in-which a minimum $750 cleaning/sanitation fee will be added.

Our vehicles are 100% non-smoking/vaping. The client agrees that there will be no smoking or vaping whatsoever in my vehicle. If smoking does occur, the client will be charged a $500 fumigation/cleaning fee to their credit card. No eating of food or drinking of red wine is permitted in my vehicle other than the snacks that are provided by Boundless Tours.
